BRIEF

Create an identity for a fine-dining restaurant that evokes the meaning of the name, RIA (“where the land meets the sea”).

PROCESS

To convey the swirling nature of sea meeting shore, we played with textures and surfaces that evoke either sand or water. The edges of the logo sign are textured (sand) and the face of the letters is highly polished (water). The pearlescent menu paper is smooth against the textured menu holder. Type ebbs and flows like the tide.
