BRIEF

Create a playful invitation that inspires party-goers to dream up an outrageous hairdo for the evening.

PROCESS

The initial mockup for this concept was a collection of head shots from the internet, cut and stapled together. We knew it was going well when the client spent the entire meeting playing with the mockup and giggling. The spirit of that meeting infused every part of the process that followed. We used a mix of high-profile donors and staff for the photoshoot, which we styled ourselves (more giggling). The event didn’t draw the crowds we were hoping for, but we won a Graphis Gold award for the invitation.
