BRIEF

Create a suite of invitations that drive attendance to the bi-annual fundraising gala and generate donations.

PROCESS

For an "Urban Nature meets Speakeasy" theme, I created the image of a flower growing out of an Edison bulb. Gold and clear foil stamping creates the illusion of the bulb turning on/off as the invitation catches the light, and subtle pinstripes remind me of gangster suits. The shape and layout of the invitation evokes a bar menu, all of which sets the tone for a mysterious and elegant event.

These invitations are designed to minimize waste, re-use dies, and run items together. We proudly delivered this project under budget and still made it cool. Thanks in part to the invitations, the fundraising goal for the event was exceeded. And we won a Graphis Silver Award. BOOM!
